1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StartWork ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
StartWork provides a job search automation platform including job aggregation, application auto-fill via a Chrome extension, resume management, and AI-powered career tools. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information in job applications
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to spam employers or submit mass unsolicited applications
- Share your account credentials with others
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or as a one-time payment (Lifetime plan). You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided within 14 days of initial purchase if you are unsatisfied. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by StartWork. Your resume data, profile information, and application content remain yours. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.
7. Chrome Extension
The StartWork Chrome extension operates locally in your browser. It reads form fields on job application pages and fills them with your saved profile data. The extension does not submit applications automatically without your explicit action. Use of the extension is subject to these Terms and the Chrome Web Store terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will result in job offers, interviews, or employment. We do not guarantee compatibility with all job application platforms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartWork shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, data loss, or application errors.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
