How do I install the StartWork Chrome extension?

1. Download the extension from your StartWork dashboard.

2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions.

3. Enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top-right corner.

4. Click Load unpacked and select the downloaded extension folder.

5. Click the StartWork icon in your toolbar and log in with your account.

How do I use StartWork to fill job applications?

Once installed, simply navigate to a job application page on any supported platform. StartWork will detect the application form and display an overlay. Click the StartWork button to auto-fill the form with your saved profile data, then review and submit.

What platforms does StartWork support?

StartWork works on all major job platforms and ATS systems including:

Job boards: LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, Monster, CareerBuilder, Dice, and more.

ATS platforms: Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Taleo, BambooHR, JazzHR, SmartRecruiters, and others.

We are constantly adding support for new platforms.

How does the auto-apply feature work?

With a Starter or Pro plan, StartWork can automatically search for jobs matching your preferences and apply on your behalf. Set your desired job titles, locations, salary range, and excluded companies in your dashboard. StartWork will find matching jobs, generate tailored cover letters using AI, and submit applications for you.

Is my data safe?

Yes. Your personal data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

The extension is not filling forms correctly. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure your profile is fully filled out in the StartWork dashboard.

2. Refresh the job application page and try again.

3. Check that you are logged in to the extension (click the StartWork icon in the toolbar).

4. Try disabling other extensions that may conflict with form filling.

5. If the issue persists, email us at support@startwork.today with the URL of the page and a screenshot.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your StartWork dashboard under the Billing section. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

How do I delete my account and data?

To delete your account and all associated data, go to your dashboard settings or email support@startwork.today. Uninstalling the Chrome extension will also remove all locally stored data from your device.
